The Lady Tigers finished sixth at the Kokomo Invitational on Wednesday. Leading the Warsaw effort was Sarah Hartle with an 85 while Kayla Hutcherson shot an 89. Nikki Lalonde carded a 101 while Nikki Grose added a 103. Morgan Sands completed the scoring with a 111. The girls are back in action today competing in the Huntington Invitational.

Northridge played Tippy Valley and John Glen in a three-way match at Mill Creek in Rochester.

Goshen finishes 10th out of 15 teams at the Plymouth Invite
Junior Heather Gladfelter's 7th place finish (88) led Goshen. Freshman Teage Minier shot 118, senior Brook Cripe 120, and freshman Morgan Leonard 131 for a team score of 457. Junior Kaitlyn Karnes withdrew due to illness.

The Redskins host their own invite tomorrow, Friday August 6, 2010. Other teams participating will be Elkhart Central, DeKalb, Fairfield, Elkhart Memorial, and Northridge.

Goshen will travel to Noble Hawk Links Course on Saturday for the East Noble Invite.

The Lady Tigers shot a 394 to finish 14th in the Western Invitational on Saturday in Kokomo. Sarah Hartle paced the Warsaw effort with an 89. Kayla Hutcherson carded a 94 while Nikki Lalonde (104), Nikki Grose (107) and Elizabeth Meadows (119) completed the scoring. The girls will travel to Sycamore Golf Club in North Manchester to face Whitko on Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers defeated the Eagles in their home opener at Stonehenge
on Wednesday. Sarah Hartley's 39 paced the Warsaw effort with Kayla
Hutcherson right behind her with a 40. Morgan Sands shot a 50 while
Nikki Grose added a 56. In the JV match Trisha Reneker shot a 51 while
Devin Hay carded a 52. Kelli Singrey was next with a 54 while Karisa
Clark shot a 60. The golf team will compete in the Fremont Invitational
today.

The Lady Tigers got off to a fast start in their first game, winning in South Bend on Monday. Erica Gauger tallied two goals, both off of assists by Emily Williamson. Hannah Cutshall and Meredith Hollar each added one goal while Emma Dickerhoff had an assist. Gabby Monroy got the shutout in goal with two saves. In the JV game, Elise White scored twice while Erika Robinaugh, Abby Schue, Emily Tandy Meghan Boston and Calli McGrath each scored once

The Tigers fell to the Kingsmen on Monday in their season opener. Evan Miller won at #3 singles. JV winners included
Raj Gokhale, Kyle Wettschurack and Conner Singrey in singles play and the doubles team of Simon Stone and Nick Hamrick. The Tigers will host Columbia City on Wednesday.

The Tigers opened their season at home with the win over the Cadets. Corey Lopez scored in the 77th minute off of an assist by Xavier Arellanes. David Johnson had two saves while recording the shutout in goal. The JV also won with Steven Kolbe scoring for the Tigers.

The boys will play Northrop at the Plex in Fort Wayne on Friday night.

The Tigers shutout the Bruins in Fort Wayne's Soccer Showcase at The
Plex on Friday night. Jose Rodriguez's second half goal off of an
assist by Joey Hickerson proved to be the difference in the game. David
Johnson stopped three shots to record his second consecutive shutout.
In the JV game, Stephen Kolbe scored with Ethan Goodman adding an
assist. Both teams are 2-0 and are in action on Thursday, traveling to
play Plymouth in the first NLC contest of the season.

The Tigers fell in the season opener at Columbia City on Friday night.
Jeremy Coppes connected with Ryan Lowe on a 26 yard touchdown pass while
Tyler Adams rushed for a score. Matt Abbitt added a safety to close the
Tiger scoring. Adams led the rushers with 98 yards. Jalen Roscoe
caught 4 passes for 45 yards. Zach Shepler led the defense with 5
tackles and Taylor Cone added an interception. Jeff Ballenger converted
two extra points.
