We Cover More High Schools Sports More Often

Grace's men's golf program has signed local Warsaw High School standout Kal Denlinger for the 2010-11 season.

"I chose Grace College because of the great relationship I have with Coach Wright," Kal said. "They have my desired major in Sports Management and I look forward to helping the golf program continue to be successful."

Kal is a four-year varsity award winner at Warsaw High School. He is a member of back to back sectional championship teams in 2009 & 2010. During his senior year he has been a part of a team that completed only the 3rd undefeated regular season campaign in Warsaw Tiger history (15-0). The Tigers were just named 2010 regional champions and have advanced to the Indiana high school state golf championship next week.

"Grace is getting a fine athlete and a better person in Kal Denlinger," said Warsaw High School head golf coach Ben Barkey. "Kal has meant a great deal to our program and has done an outstanding job. I am blessed to have Kal be a part or our program the last 4 years."

At Warsaw, Kal is a honors student ranked in the top 25 in the senior class, and has over a 12.0 GPA. He plans on majoring in sports management upon his arrival at Grace.

"It has been a great journey with Kal to have him decide to attend Grace," said Grace head coach Bo Wright. "He will have a great impact on our program and we are excited to have him join our golf family at Grace."

Kal is the son of Kent and Karla Denlinger
